Vineland Swapmeet is located in The City of Industry. To get there you will pass your share of strip joints and run down or closed down businesses. I'm meeting my good friend Jessica Flagel of (social media girl) there and she is lost but once you actually find it, you will be glad you did. Talk about a hidden gem! The variety is fantastic. There is a booth with Target merchandise ranging from home goods to clothes. I scored a $100 bedspread for $30. Other booths have jewelry from Nordstroms, JC Penny's, Macy's and forever 21. $100 necklace for $15. There's also great Chinese massages for cheap. You can buy fresh watermelon juice and some tacos or produce from Mexico. Then you have your usual 10 pairs of socks for $5. On the other end of the place is where you'll find your old stuff. 60's cameras, paintings, furniture. Some vendors know the value of things but most don't. The white suitcase in the picture was $5. The sea glass jar $4.This place has it all. You won't see your usual hipsters here NOPE more like chubby Mexican kid's eating pork rinds. If you do make it out there remember a few tips: DO NOT get excited in front of the vendor when he tells you the Kravet lamp worth $300 is $10. DO NOT dress cool or expensive. DO get here early because they pack up around 1:30pm. DO bring plenty of cash because you will regret not buying everything. Do bring any bit of spanish you know.(Sorry, prices do go up the whiter you are) Most of all have fun and enjoy.
